Jaime De Vega needed help creating a poster that delivers information to its readers while giving the type a hierarchy so it doesn't clash with itself.
Informative Poster
This poster was designed in my Type and Design class in the fall semester. The purpose was to justify the type making sure we gave correct hierarchy to the text. I also created a background in which I incorporated gradients and lines for division.
Process
This poster was created using a variety of programs, but mainly Indesign. I created the background layer behind the type using gradient maps in Illustrator. The custom title of the poster was made in Indesign by messing around with the height, width, and weight of each word.
Meaning
The strong lines I created are meant to divide the title from the rest of the information on the poster. While the gradient is meant to give the poster an interesting factor by giving it depth and movement.
